Are you showing up for the meaningful moments?
One of my all-time favorite quotes comes from the movie Anna and The King. At the end of the movie, as the credits are rolling, the King’s son says this about the woman who came to teach the King’s children and instead changed the culture of a kingdom: “It has always surprised me how small a part of life is taken up by meaningful moments. Most of them are over before they start, although they cast a light on the future, and make the person who originated them unforgettable.”
See if you can let that sink into your bones.
And my dear coaching friend, Cricket Wingfield, says this: “That’s what we have, after all, a series of moments that make up a life. It doesn’t take much effort to show up with a little more of my best…”
I say, If you don’t notice the moments, it’s like they didn’t happen. Please show up.
Much love,
